Benefits

Being a member of the Greater Kansas City Claims Association provides you with a multitude of opportunities to network with other individuals throughout Kansas City's community of insurance professionals. Whether at a social event, our annual charity golf tournament or our end of the year holiday party, the GKCCA provides you with these opportunities

We additionally work with local and national associations to coordinate events and present networking opportunities through those associations. Local and National associations the GKCCA are active with include the following:

Kansas City CPCU Society
Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association
Missouri Captive Insurance Association
National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters

Membership Levels:

New in 2026 - The GKCCA Board has moved toward open membership. There is nothing you need to do other than contacts one of the board members and be added to the contact list, or follow the GKCCA on social media for notices of our four annual events.

(Public Adjusters are prohibited from joining the GKCCA)

Letter to our Members

January 2026

Dear Members,

It is my honor to welcome you to another year with the Greater Kansas City Claims Association. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President once again. After a short break, I’m excited to be back and to continue supporting the dedicated professionals who make up our insurance claims community in the greater Kansas City area.

Our mission remains simple and meaningful: to promote education, professionalism, and a strong sense of community within our industry. This year, we are embracing that mission with a renewed focus on connection and collaboration.

We have made a few important changes for 2026. To encourage broader participation, we are no longer charging a membership fee to be part of the association. While we will not be offering Continuing Education classes this year, we are shifting our focus toward strengthening relationships and building community.

Each quarter, we will host a social event designed to bring our members together for an evening of networking, conversation, and camaraderie. Our tentative event schedule for 2026 includes:

- April 2 – Spring Social Happy Hour
- September/October – Family-Friendly Sporting Event (TBD)
- December 9 – Annual Holiday Party (TBD)

We look forward to connecting with you throughout the year and creating opportunities for our members
to engage, collaborate, and enjoy time together.
